I saw Dr Huhn a long time ago. I was 29 years old and had gone to the ER in tremendous pain. I didn’t have insurance and a scan showed that I had a large mass and I was told that I couldn’t be treated at the hospital without insurance. They referred me to Dr. Huhn.

It’s been 15 years and I will never forget how he treated me. I was terrified because the mass was between my jaw and ear. The pressure made it difficult to eat and talk, and the pain in my ear was excruciating. After being turned away from the hospital, I wasn’t sure I would get help.

I had money for an office visit. I had money if I needed a test. I just wasn’t sure what would happen if I needed surgery or something. I told this to the Dr before he even evaluated me because I was panicked. He was so incredibly callous and condescending. “I don’t do charity work”. He didn’t smile. He wasn’t comforting. He made several comments that made me feel like trash. He applied pressure to the area from inside my mouth (inner cheek) and said nothing , no warning or sympathy, seeing the goofball-sized lump on my face.

Luckily the super-strong $100 out-of-pocket antibiotic cleared up what ended up being a horrific infection caused by a calcium deposit in my parotid gland. He told me that I should hope that works because I wouldn’t be able to afford what he would normally do for treatment.

I tell everyone that has a ENT need to stay away from Dr. Huhn and when my daughter had a tumor in her inner ear, you already know that we went to a different doctor for her two surgeries.

Who knew that a two-month lapse in health insurance would be so memorable. Shame on you Dr. Huhn.

I hope I caught him on a bad day, June 5th, 2008, and that he doesn’t have a trail of trauma patients.

I had appointment with John Huhn. I dont want to call him Doctor, He was rude, ironical and not professional at all even when he told me that he has 30 years working and I was the 1st person with my problem, He was thinking I was lying or what? If we go to see a Doctor it is because we need it. His assistant was rude also I think they don't like latin people, sad to say it but I think that, well in conclusion I won't see him again and I will see a new Doctor for a good solution because He didnt say anything. He was just rude and yelling me that he understood wich was my pain but he insisted why I had it?, what kind of Doctor treat his patients like that?. Worse experience and worse doctor.

Dr Huhn was amazing with my 2 year old who needed tubes in her ears. The surgical process was smooth and his staff was amazing through the process.

After 6 weeks dealing with this office staff I gave up! My physician fax referral on 4 different occasions to two different fax numbers that were provided by Huhns staff. They couldn't find any of them. I hand delivered one personally drove to the office. I was told we will get back to you. After two weeks I called and they couldn't find any correspondence at all!
