The doctor and nurses are the only reason I'm leaving greater than 1 star. They are great, and I truly feel cared for once I get through the door. However, scheduling an appointment is AWFUL. I have been on hold for 10+ mins being told I'm first in queue, I've left a message with NO callback. This has happened multiple times. The front desk/receptionist are some of the worst I've ever experienced from health professionals.

It seems everyone has this same experience as well. It is truly awful and should be revamped. There's no reason anyone should have to physically drive to the location to make an appointment in 2024. Speaking of which, I have driven to the facility while on hold, and made and appointment quicker. Sad.

La peor clínica que te puedas encontrar en Los Ángeles California, las enfermeras no tienen ni la mínima experiencia. Las que atienden los teléfonos se la pasan en sus celulares. La atención al cliente es un perfecto asco. No entiendo el por qué esta clínica sigue abierta, sólo ocupa espacio obtiene dinero del gobierno y no ayuda a la comunidad los superiores deberían entender que las personas encargadas de esta clínica no están haciendo su trabajo. En realidad creo que no hay ayuda hacia las personas enfermas que se van a consulta ahí. Ojalá mucha gente entienda y se cambie de clínica. ya que no pueden ni contestar una llamada ni mucho menos atender a un paciente en comparación al hospital general esta clínica es de lo mas decepcionante !si hubiera un menos estrellas le daría menos cinco

Siempre que voy me tengo que esperar más de 40 min para dejar muestra de sangre como hoy llegue a las 8 salí 8:40 y no fuy atendido y la recepcionista solo platicando y en el teléfono.. no iso nada

I'm doing this for my wife. We both stood there at the appointment desk waiting for someone to look up to see who is there. Two of them were on their phones the other one was busy doing something else we don't know. They did not even acknowledge her. She had to say excuse me in all three looked up and one of them actually said can I help you. We've been coming through this clinic for years we like it because it is a neighborhood clinic but you guys have got to do better than this. I'm reading all the bad reviews about you guys. Doesn't look good

Only problems, I haven’t been to the dentist in so long because well I went to school there was Covid now when they’re finally open after Covid after waiting so long for them they won’t accept me because I’m considered a new patient. All these rules and nothing but problems. This is awful.

Update, June 2023, the clinic was open after Covid and the doctor is very nice and good. Her name is Joanne. I still wish they would answer the phone when you call. Sometimes they answer sometimes they don’t but they used to always answer it, and I’ve been coming to this clinic For more than 15 years. They used to always answer the phone and you could always talk to a nurse. Other than that, things seem to come back to normal. The doctor is very good and nice, and their beginning to answer the calls now.

Update, Jan 2024, the clinic is better especially with the addition of the new Dentist, Doctor Omar. I am happy to have discovered her, she is the best dentist since Doctor Garcia retired, and am happy to finally be able to have her as a dentist after all these years going through the pandemic and all.

Update Oct 2024 things are getting better. More dentists left but I'm very happy with the new dentist Dr. Gonzalez. He is the best dentist and my teeth are so much better after he worked on them and my primary care physician Dr. Ana is also amazing. I'm so glad Arroyo Vista is getting back to normal. It's still very hard to make or cancel appointments through phone call because the wait time is very long and often they still don't answer.

I really liked the doctor and nurse. But, thereceptionistdepartment never never answers the phone,to make an appointment I have to walk in to schedule one absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand why they do not hire more receptionist, and appointment setters separate.

Both my wife, and my roommate go to the same doctor at this clinic, and that doctor is great, and literally the only reason we have stayed. The only bad thing about the doctor is that she is at this clinic. Our complaints are the same as many have noted here regarding the impossibility to communicate with them by phone. Basically everything is difficult until you get into the room with the doctor. The most recent debacle is that my wife switched insurance plans in October and one of her medications has taken 7 weeks as of now to get them to send the authorization to the insurance company from the doctor. It still has not happened as I write this. The local pharmacies including CVS and Rite Aide openly complain about their inability to communicate with this clinic, and what a nightmare it is. Again, most recently with the medication I mentioned the CVS pharmacist went out of his way to try to contact the clinic to let them know which telephone number they needed to call for the doctor to provide the prior authorization and he stated he just got the run around and never got to the doctor to provide the info. It's just a nightmare. It's sad because the doctors and nurses there are actually all great. Hopefully this post will help their admin get their act together. Lastly, look at all the other reviews, especially the fact that they do the same auto-reply to every negative review. This just shows you how they are ignoring and failing to actually address the feedback.

I had arranged for a yearly physical. I have never visited this institution before. Everything with the nurse was going smoothly at first. I responded to her basic health inquiries. At first, the nurse appeared kind, but I believe I was mistaken. She then led me into an examining room. Paulina Pilotos, a Filipino physician, showed there a short while later. Although she seemed at first kind, collected, I suppose I was also mistaken about her.
I had no idea she found her job annoying. As Paulina examined me, I would answer her questions. I had never considered it to be wrong. Isn't that how a yearly physical exam works?

The moment Dr. Paulina leaves the room, a Hispanic nurse in her late 50s bursts into the examination room with such hostility, being incredibly disrespectful and unprofessionally. This is when things start to become strange. Claiming that because I had so many problems, the doctor was angry with her. What is she talking about and why is she assuming things. What!!! She continued saying that the Dr. told her that she took so long with me, and a physical test should only be arranged for healthy people. I had no idea that people in good health only visit the doctor for their checkups. What kind of rubbish does this woman say? What a clueless, stupid, and unqualified nurse and doctor! If they don't enjoy this field, why are they even working in it?

They ought to step down so that actual professionals can take their place. These people wouldn't be making money if it weren't for myself and other patients. They are able to survive because of us.
