The best last Mass in New York City!!!!
8:30PM!!!!
Beautifully done!!!
I encourage every Catholic who needs to get to Mass on Sunday because you know it's a holy day of obligation and every Catholic must make it to Mass on Sunday!!
That way you don't commit a mortal sin!!
For every Mass missed means another mortal sin on your soul!!
So please if you are practicing Catholic or even a fallen away Catholic I beg you please stay close to the Sacrament of Confession
At least once a month!
Mass every Sunday and holy days of obligation!
And after confession you can receive the Sacrament of Most Holy Communion!!
Because then you'll be in a state of grace!!!
Know that the Holy Family Jesus Mary and Joseph
Are calling you to come back to the SACRAMENTS!!
GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF YOU READING THIS POST!!!

This is a beautiful peaceful neighborhood feel church where historical and eventful visits have occurred since it was built. It is a Parish if the Archdiocese of New York.
On October 4, 1965, Pope Paul VI held an ecumenical meeting in the church, marking the first occasion of a reigning pope to visit a parish church in the Western Hemisphere.

A beautiful church with an amazing CCD program which my son has been attending for years. I highly recommend families who are seeking a program for their child to attend Church of the Holy Family. It’s quite special.

Celebrated Mass here at Holy Family Church during Labor Day weekend and it was so special. Loved the service, community, and St. Mary’s Garden. Thankful to have visited.

Just had the most unpleasant of experiences (it's my family's personal experience) with Father Gerald Murray. Our eldest brother and this woman were rejected from their regular church for wedding. Our entire family has been objecting to their wedding. The original church would not conduct their wedding. But our eldest brother and this woman secretly came to Holy Family, without telling anyone in his family. We had notified Father Murray of our strongest objections much earlier, we even asked if there was going to be a wedding. Father Murray refused to answer. Unbeknownst to us, as we were told, Father Murray married my brother and this woman despite having received our objections via email prior. (this woman is not a Catholic, supposedly became pregnant last year before marriage. But most importantly, she is here to steal my brother's life savings, perhaps worse.)

We came today to seek Father Murray's advice and help. Instead, Father Murray refused to talk. When my other brother was discussing this with other parishioners on the street, Father Murray tried to silence my brother and stop him from speaking.

During mass, Father Murray also loudly singled out our mother for wearing a mask when she went up to get Communion. We have been Catholics for our entire lives, we had never had something like this happen.

During his mass Father Murray, spent time talking about his low pay, how he couldn't get a full time job and then work in the church on weekends, how little vacation he gets. Thank goodness though he is now getting a vacation in August. Perhaps just my personal bias but I have never heard any Priest complain during mass about their 'low' salary or "having to work in the church full time".

The questions we are pondering now are Father Murray's actions, motivations and the reasons for wedding being performed despite family objections.
