I was looking up the number here to fill out on a form and saw that it was only 4 stars, otherwise I wouldn't leave a review. I've been seeing Dr Bang for about 7 years now and she's great. She's excellent at listening and awesome at asking the right questions and speaking to you like an adult. The scheduling issues people are complaining about come from the methodist family healthcare side and not the office.

I’ve been calling for over a week to schedule an appointment and I don’t get an answer. It’s it currently 8:52am and I just called; voice machine states they’re closed. They open at 8am? If not, they need to update their hours on Google. When I called last week later in the day after selecting the option to schedule an appointment no one answers. MyChart isn’t even working to schedule an appointment. It just provides the same number to call for an appointment. Annoyed is an understatement.

Dr Arias is great, she’s thoughtful, listens, is attentive and has a good bedside manor.

Unfortunately the punctuality of the office drags down the overall experience, especially considering how long you’re with the doctor, compared to how long you have to wait. You’re asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, however the past two instances I’ve not been sent back to a room until 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. From there you’re stuck waiting in a room because they’re “running behind”. It doesn’t appear that the office is busy but there must be a scheduling issue or double booking.

I’m writing this, still waiting to be seen for my appointment and they’re 30 minutes late. I would like to recommend Dr Arias but it’s not worth the wait.

Dr. Bang is an incredible, competent, and genuinely caring doctor who always goes above and beyond for me. I have been her patient for 7 years and I have continued to come to her because of the exceptional care that I receive. I am chronically ill so I have complex care needs, yet Dr. Bang is always willing to answer my questions — when I need more specialized care she refers me out (which is the sign of a good doctor). As a patient it is extremely comforting knowing that my doctor is on my side, actually cares about me as an individual human being, & will work to develop the best plan of care that I need for my longterm health& wellbeing. Beyond Dr. Bang, the entire staff at Methodist Family Health Center is respectful, culturally competent, and timely. As someone who also works in healthcare I know just how difficult it is to assemble a team that works so seamlessly together with patient needs in mind, which makes me even more grateful for them! I hope that others come to see Dr. Bang & her colleagues so they can also receive exceptional care.

The office is very punctual with their appointments which I appreciate bc I'm always on time. Super easy to get bloodwork
done. Dr Claiborne is great; he is thoughtful in his approach, and takes his time during the visit. My husband who also saw him thought the same. Thumbs up to
this wonderful Physician from both of us (also Physicians).

Nice Doctors but unprofessional. Had to wait over 72 hours for someone to call me and explain what my test results mean (to a place where I can actually understand them). I understand there are processes and other logistics in place, but if you are like me, these 72 hours were the longest hours of my life. I was fed up with waiting and desperately asking for someone to call me back in "My Chart" I stated that I no longer will be a patient at this practice, I FINALLY GOT a call back from Dr. Claiborne who showed little to no empathy on this wait time. If you have some anxiety of going to the Doctor's, don't choose to get any sort of testing or blood work done here. They won't respond fast enough. EDIT: Not to mention, when I was originally confused on my results, I asked for more clarity and word for word "You should go see a specialist on this to get you the answers you need." - Dr. Bang. Are you kidding me? Why even perform tests on patients if you can't give them a thorough explanation on what the results mean. Not to mention healthcare is so expensive , that this whole experience was a HUGE waste of money and time AND stress!! They may be Doctors that care for their patients, but this whole situation is an eye opener to me, it seems like they don't care aboout their patients well being if I am literally crying for help via My Chart messages . I sent messages throughout the day on My Chart and the practice closed without even attempting to respond.

Dr. Bang is so awesome! I have been a patient for several years after once visiting with her because my doctor was out for the day. The staff has been awesome as well and the wait is never too long. A couple of the long-term medical assistants have been very personable and makes it comfortable to see the same happy faces and engaging personalities. I have about a 45 minute drive from home, but would not change my doctor for the world.

I am sharing this for my daughter because she will not do it. My daughter went there for the first time to get a physical. She was unhappy from the minute she walked in to when she walked out. It took about 10 minutes to be put in a room. It took about 40 minutes for her to be seen by the doctor. When the doctor went into the room, he was soeaking slow and seemed to be unsure of what he was doing. He seemed to be a recent new doctor, if he was a doctor. Because he did not have a doctor coat or name badge on. My daughter said she felt uncomfortable, and the doctor didn't even finish the physical. She wanted to get lab work done, but the doctor dismissed her without any further evaluation. My daughter will not be going there again.
