Dr. Milo Vassallo is the epitome of a trusted, exceptional doctor. His wealth of knowledge came across during his in-depth examination and conversation with you. He listened carefully, acknowledged what was said, asked relevant pointed questions, and determined a diagnosis with ease (after testing). He explained everything with stunning precision which enabled making joint health decisions. I was comfortable about learning about and addressing my various allergies and asthma condition.

Note: I was seen within a few minutes of my check-in time. The staff was very friendly and acknowledged my presence immediately. Online appointments were easy to make (and cancel, or reschedule)

I hate to review a business or a person with a one-star review but after the treatment we received at the office today, I had to warn other parents. I would not recommend any parent to take their children to Dr. Vassallo. He has horrible bed side manner with children, to say the least. When I booked an appointment I told the front desk that this is for my child. They knew she was 6 years old. However, upon entering the room, the dr was immediately rude towards my daughter who was resting on my legs while her feet were slightly touching the wall and the doctor got upset starting: "young lady, first of all take your feet of the wall!" in a very strict and ordering tone. He then proceed to explain his weird behavior (probably after seeing the shock on my face) by saying that he is not usually taking children patients. He then asked me if my child is capable of listening and cooperation in a pejorative tone. He started passive aggressively offering us a mask and got upset with a 6 year old when she couldn't keep the mask up at all times. In the mean time, my daughter, who is a very bright, positive and social child was trying to explain why she can't keep the mask on desperately. She said she is very congested and breathing through the mask is hard and that is why she is lifting the mask up every now and then to catch a breath but the dr talked her super aggressively each time and cut her off rudely. Since I didn't want to cause a scene in front of my daughter, I tried to stay as calm as possible and tried to explain him that she is really congested and she is more than capable of understanding him and following orders. He was super rude each time I tried to talk and cut me and my daughter off so many times. I waited for him to stop talking and we left his room. I then complained to the supervisor on site and I will follow up on my complaints with an email to both dr and practice administrator. We will never visit this doctor again.

The address was a little difficult to find but once inside staff were genuinely nice and very efficient. They stuck to my appointment time. The front desk staff and nurses were very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Vassallo was very thorough, asking a lot of questions to get to the bottom of my issue. The waiting area was clean - though I wish the decor was brighter and not so dark.

Dr. Vassallo and his staff are truly awesome They are patient, attentive and make sure that your visit runs as smoothly as the process for checking in. They answer questions and the office manager is always available to assist. The nurses and medical assistants are a pleasure. Amicable personalities overall. But must importantly the staff is compassionate. Dr. Vassallo is passionate about his specialty. He is knowledgeable with excellent bedside manner and patient rapport. I recommend him and the Brooklyn Heights office to everyone.

The doctor was very direct, which I appreciated. He told me he needed tests, they were done immediately, and thoroughly. After seeing the results he knew he’d have to spend some time talking to me about a plan of action, and so he made sure he slotted that time to do so. He asked clear questions, explained why he was asking, and presented a detailed, clear treatment plan. After years of avoiding allergists and assuming I could not be helped, I was thrilled to be proven wrong. Allergy treatments have come a long way since the last time I tried, over 20 years ago!
