My husband and I chose Lisa to work with for our elopement after our good friends had used her for their elopement and had so many great things to say. Let me tell you, all those great things were not only true, but Lisa exceeded our expectations. From the first call with her, all the way to getting our gallery back after the elopement, Lisa was there every step of the way to help answer questions and guide us through the process. The day of the elopement, Lisa made our first look pictures feel so comfortable and easy. She was able to capture the beauty of the landscape and the special moments between my husband and me so well and the pictures are absolutely stunning! The ceremony and group pictures with our family was an ease, all to the help and support of her guidance and eye for capturing those perfect moments in pictures. My husband and I would highly recommend Lisa for anyone thinking of eloping. She was a joy to work with and the pictures you’ll have to look back on are simply the best of the best.

My husband Brandon and I booked Pretty/Bold Photography for our elopement/intimate wedding ceremony in September 2023 at Yosemite National Park. We had the BEST day, all thanks to Lisa. She helped us plan the day down to the minute, while still making sure to build in flexibility to keep everything relaxed and fun. Even when I was feeling anxious in the planning stages about all the "what ifs", Lisa expertly listened to my fears and then put them to rest.

She is a consummate professional -- prepared for any scenario, able to bring out natural smiles and poses, and, truly, a lot of fun to work with. Our ceremony was at sunrise, and Lisa was up at the ceremony site before us, ready for the day even though she was extremely jet lagged. And she’s just so kind and thoughtful; she had sunscreen for Brandon and I at mid-morning because we hadn’t applied any, and she was joking around with our guests when we had cake at the picnic area. And the photos!! Oh my goodness, they are insanely beautiful. Lisa perfectly captured mine and Brandon’s silliness while making sure we looked dang good. I think that’s what I love most about Lisa’s photography style — the photos are BOLD and dynamic, capturing the scale of the scenery, yet still calm and collected enough to capture the smaller, intimate moments between the couple. Lisa is your gal if you’re looking for true professionalism and gorgeous photos.

Lisa is an amazing photographer and elopement specialist and I highly recommend her! We knew immediately after our first phone chat with her that she was the photographer for us. She's super organized and planned everything out- from the daily schedule, to the locations and hiking conditions, to the specific shot list we wanted ahead of time. Lisa took the most beautiful photos of my elopement/intimate wedding. She was absolutely the best vendor choice I made for my entire wedding. She helped us choose an elopement location, shoot locations, and made an entire timeline of the day for us based on when the sun would set in the mountains (and added in buffer times because she knew we would run late- we did). Her experience and talent is truly unmatched. Usually as a bride you are told that you are so beautiful and your dress is gorgeous... but the compliment I receive the most is how gorgeous my photos are. I totally agree. Numerous people have told me that they are the most amazing wedding photos they have ever seen and that they can't stop looking through them. I found Lisa through a chain of photographer referrals because I was getting married in a very short time frame. We got so extremely lucky that she had a cancellation (COVID) for the same day. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was extremely professional, relaxed, knowledgable, friendly, communicative, and she even was prepared with a piece of gum when I asked her for one right before I walked down the aisle because I was worried about dry mouth during the ceremony. She was able to navigate two moms who love photos and are particular about them, sticky situations with divorced parents, she worked around chaos in the house where we got ready, guided the two of us through the couples shoot with poses (we are awkward in front of the camera and have never had professional photos taken before), and she kept the schedule moving with a calm, kind, and effortless demeanor. Look no further for an elopement photographer. Lisa is your girl.

Where do I even begin?! Our large wedding was cancelled due to covid and there were many rescheduling attempts before we finally landed our mini wedding date. Lisa was there for us from start to finish and every day in between!
She is super friendly, insanely organized, and of course crazy talented! We did not have a wedding coordinator so when Lisa offered to help with some general scheduling and timeline advice, I was super appreciative and stoked!! With her help we had an itinerary that got us through the day at every turn. We made Lisa and the second shooter (yes with a small wedding we had a second shooter, and I don’t regret it one bit!!) show up to a venue they had never been to before. Without skipping a beat they both handled it like true masters of their craft and worked together so well! My husband and I were instantly put at ease with the very helpful coaching we got throughout the day. There was no stressing about what to do with our hands, where to look, or how to stand! Lisa’s eye for color, light, and backdrop scenery is superb and a true gift. The results, hundreds of stunningly beautiful photos that brought us to tears! Seriously, my husband and I, and everyone who views them, are utterly blown away! Lisa is the real deal and the whole package - pro and fun, all rolled into one!
